I can see s little ‘break’ coming and the light is shining bright.!

Have knocked over some amazing goals and projects that have been in production for the last few months… I almost always get presumption-anxiety when looking forwards towards things that need to be completed, but I have learnt to control it quite well, and they are always positives… so what’s to worried about.?!

It has been such a BIG year and in the next few weeks I will posting a lot of things that were 2010, and huge surprises and announcements for 2011…!

So the week went as such…

Some good friends of mine opened a magical little clothing boutique called ‘Hello Friend’… It is on the Lower Gold Coast Highway in Burleigh… Kim and Shue asked me to hand paint a permanent installation on the wall… I was very honoured, straight off the plane from Hawaii, headspinning, but feeling good. They had a great turnout as a sort of non-official opening party.! Head on down and support the cause, some great vintage finds and some good brands being stocked early in the New Year.! Good on ya Kids.! x

For the first time in about 7 years I was asked to photograph the Billabong Girls Summer 11 campaign for swim. It was a huuuuge week after getting back from Hawaii and launching straight into it. I was prepared though as it has been planning for months. We shot locally with an amazing crew.! I loved putting some fresh eyes on this and hope everyone loves the results, It won’t be public til next year but I have included a couple of moods below… fighting off storms, getting burnt by the sun, up early, bed late… but an awesome experience.!

On Friday night we held the premiere for PHILTRON of the movie TRON Legacy.! It was a great night with an intimate setting… we raised some $$$ for Phil and his upcoming treatments and we can’t thank everyone enough for coming, we really really appreciate it.! The movie was pretty Kick-Ass too… I had 3-D running through my head for a couple of hours thinking I was in TRON Land.!

Massive thanks to Duckworth, Casey and Phil for organising the whole event…

And last but not least…

I am doing a live painting event TONIGHT at Elsewhere in Surfers Paradise…!

It is called ‘On the Wall’ and is the launch of a new Sunday gig at Elsewhere produced by Josh and Hugh from FORCEFED who helped me organise my launch event at the Cavern a couple of months back… The rain is here but don’t let it stop you.!

I am painting with long time Graff Legend KASINO who will also be dropping some Dope Styles… Nate Stanbridge will also be painting and there is a live set by local band ‘Nine Sons of Dan’.

There will be a silent auction of all artworks and entry is $10… from 7pm.!
